Online DVD Movie Rental
I'll never forget the days when my father and I would head out to the local video store in search of some Friday night flicks. Since we lived in a small rural town, there wasn't a great deal to pick and choose from. Sure, there were a few different "mom and pop" stores, but they generally only carried about three of each title. Pretty sad, I know. The truly amusing thing about this era was that we also had to rent a VCR with the movies. We were one of those families that chose not to buy one until I was like in high school. Go figure. Keep in mind; this was back in the 80s. There were no DVD players, no compact disks, and certainly no online movie rental businesses. Wow, are things ever simpler now days!
It's rather tough to imagine life at this point without my online movie rental service. I've been taking full advantage of Netflix for some time now, and definitely love the process. They've made it so simple to get all the movies you love without any hassles. All you have to do is set up an online account and begin renting. You can have three movies out at a time and keep them for as long as you like. Now, this process will only run you about 20 bucks a month. Actually a bit less, if you want to get technical about it.
What I enjoy so much about this online movie rental service is the convenience. I just hop on my laptop, pull up their website, add new films to my list, and arrange them in the order I wish to receive them. They typically take one business day to arrive in my mailbox. When I send a DVD back in the self-addressed, paid envelope they provide, they usually receive it by the next day. I know because they shoot me an email, informing me of the next flick I will receive. Pretty cool process if I do say so myself.
There are a couple different online movie rental companies in business these days. As far as I can tell, Netflix still offers the greatest variety of older films. This is absolutely something to consider if you aren't just into new releases. Get on the web and see what the Netflix online movie rental service has to offer you. They often give away the first couple weeks for free.
